About Tara Raddohl
I work in the corporate communications department at Walmart, coordinating with our merchandising team to get the "news" out about what's happening at Walmart. Right now my time is dedicated to working with media across the country to let them know about the products and happenings at Walmart related to holidays, hence holidays are what I'll discuss on this blog!
Holidays aren't merely a work-related joy for me. I am a holiday fanatic! Give me tinsel, a cake or a sparkler and I'm a happy girl! I believe that's mainly because most of my fondest childhood memories are tied to celebrating holidays, be it birthdays eating my mom's chocolate cake with homemade fudge frosting, Fourth of July at the grandparents' lake cabin, Halloween with the barn as a haunted house, or a perfectly snowy Christmas. My mother indulged us often but especially during holidays with the most tasty treats and sweets you could imagine and all made from scratch. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
Outside of waiting for the next holiday to roll around, I enjoy the outdoors (a byproduct of growing up on a farm in North Dakota, I imagine), reading, playing and watching sports, all genres of music and movies, and spending time with family and good friends!
