I’m one lucky girl. I recently joined the Walmart communications team to support the Apparel and Home divisions, and for someone who loves great style almost as much as a shop til’ you drop bargain-seeking adventure, I couldn’t think of a better fit.
I’ve never subscribed to the notion that you have to spend tons of cash to look fabulous, create a gorgeous living space or throw a memorable event. You just need to tap your individuality, then exercise a little creativity and discipline (yes mom, you taught me well). Collecting smart advice from the experts whenever you can is also essential, and the best of them share the belief that great style can be achieved at any budget.
Fashion maven I’m not, but home is New York City and occasionally Northwest Arkansas, where I have the pleasure of working alongside a team of design and style connoisseurs who really know their stuff. My good fortune is that they are patient and generous when it comes to satisfying my thirst for tips on everything from wardrobe basics and flattering fits, to party planning and do-it-yourself decorating. Occasionally I also have the opportunity to glean knowledge from the amazing style, decorating and entertaining icons who offer exclusive lines at Walmart.
By nature I’m a chatterbox, which means I can’t help but share my excitement for the subject of all things in vogue with anyone who can stand my enthusiasm.
