Am I the only one that has been completely engrossed by this election cycle?  I have found myself relieved that the NFL season is finally over so that I can take ESPN out of my new channel routinue...now it is Fox News, CNN, and CSPAN.  I am still searching for a Capitol Hill Fanatasy League I can dominate!

With my current obsession and information at the touch of a button, I can no longer wait until the evening news programs to catch-up on the happenings of the day, I must keep up with the news during the day.  I have found a couple good services that help me do this via a mobile phone while I am on the run.

CNN Mobile -- CNN offers a great suite of products that vary access by your provider, but one that is available to everyone is the Mobile website which is a perfectly formatted version of the normal website.  They also update it regularly during the day so multiple visits are a must.

Fox News -- Lots of opt-in options from Hollywood Gossip text alerts to clips from TV programs.  I think the Live Audio 24/7 option is really great and for $2.99 a month you get a lot of "Fair and Balanced" commentary.

These are just a couple of ways to keep up with your political news, but keep in mind that these and other services require monthly data subscription services with your service provider.  Without a specific plan you will pay by the KB and rack up big bills quickly.

Are there any other third party services that you guys use regularly on your mobile?  Maybe someone will clue me in on a Fantasy League...I will take Huckabee in the first round and Kucinich in the second.

Josh,

Since the iPhone has the normal web, I assume the default CNN.com website would work.  Some of the other features (i.e. Breaking News Alerts) simply don't work with AT&T yet.  Let me know if you can't pull up the site through the normal address.
